The month of Muharram al-Haram commemorates the sacrifices and martyrdoms of Imam Hussain (a.s.) and his companions. This month is a month to remember the eternal sacrifices and sufferings of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and to keep alive their noble goals and teachings.

Karbala teaches us to wage jihad against wrongdoing, to support the oppressed against the oppressor and to make sacrifices in the path of truth in times of oppression and to be patient, thankful and steadfast.

May Allah Ta’ala grant us the ability to continue to support the truth by like the martyrs of Karbala and the captives of Karbala and to continue supporting the truth compared to the Yazidis of today. Amen!
