I strongly denounce the International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) resolution of June 12, 2025, which labels Iran as non-compliant with its nuclear commitments. This resolution is a clear, politically motivated tactic to pressure Iran and undermine the fragile diplomatic efforts to address the nuclear issue. Against the backdrop of heightened regional tensions, with reports of potential Israeli strikes supported by the United States and its allies, this resolution effectively serves as a tool for those backing the Zionist regime to justify possible aggression against Iran.
I am gravely concerned by the IAEA’s reliance on questionable evidence, conveniently provided by Israel, which harbors a clear bias against Iran. This alleged evidence is, at best, unreliable and lacks the objectivity expected of an international oversight body. The resolution is a dangerous step that risks escalating an already volatile region and jeopardizing ongoing negotiations, including those facilitated by Oman.
The IAEA must maintain its credibility and avoid becoming a puppet of American or Israeli interests. Iran has the sovereign right to pursue a peaceful nuclear program under the Non-Proliferation Treaty, and I reject any efforts to unjustly target it.
