I express deep sorrow and regret over this heart-wrenching incident, where terrorists attacked Sabil-e-Hussain (AS) in Jan Muhammad Bhutto village, Sindh, targeting mourners. The images of the injured individuals and the faces of these cowardly terrorists are a stain on humanity. In particular, banned Takfiri terrorist groups like Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP) and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ), which are nothing more than lawless beasts, have fueled hatred and violence against us, the Shia Muslims. These groups are relentlessly engaged in spreading religious intolerance and staining their hands with the blood of innocents, which is a blatant crime against humanity.
I strongly demand that the Pakistani government take immediate and effective measures to rein in these uncontrolled terrorists. Bringing them to justice is not only a necessity for national security but also a cry for human rights. This year alone, similar tragic incidents have shaken the peace, such as the attacks on Sabils in Karachi and Gothki. Particularly in Gothki, the desecration of an Alam-e-Abbas a.s. was an outrageous act that deeply wounded the sentiments of us. If this chain of violence is not stopped, the dream of social harmony and peace will fade away.
The government must undertake decisive actions against these terrorists, cut off their financial resources, and ensure the full enforcement of the law. Additionally, programs promoting religious harmony should be initiated to foster unity among communities and eradicate the seeds of hatred. This is the time for all of us to raise our voices together against this brutality and ensure that these terrorists, who spare no effort in shedding innocent blood, face the consequences of their crimes.
